Hi mrlarry - welcome to BlackBerry Forums.

Check out the Media Center forum for loads of information about themes for the 8830.

Not sure what kind of update you are looking for, but an excellent place to start is Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

You should be able to seperate SMS and email. Go into message folder click scroll to options select general options scroll to email and SMS change option to seperate

You should be able to sync the company address book through either Desktop Manager, installed on your work computer, or through BES (assuming your company uses this).

Yes I'm using BES but in my full menu there is no look up feature. All of my eamil and contacts are wirelessly pushed to me so I know I should be able to do it.

You should be able to simply open the address book and start typing the person's name. This will progressively filter the contacts. When you find the one that you want, simply hit the menu key and select the email option.

You can speed this up a bit if work contacts have been assigned to a specific category. Set the address book to filter on that category.
