Hi guys,

I cannot seem to add anyone to blackberry messenger anymore. I have a couple people added from months ago, but recently I haven't been able to add any of my friends from school. I have tried adding contacts via email, as well as by pin - neither has worked. I have 5 people showing as "Pending", and they have been like that for over a week now.

I also had them try to add me, which didn't work either.

I am running version Blackberry Messenger 4.2.1 on OS 4.2.1.101. Am on AT&T on BIS. My frineds are using AT&T Curves (not sure what versions they are running).

Can someone please try adding me or messaging me via PIN: 23F25F30

Just sent you a PIN request to try. One thing I've found is you really have to add the person to your address book FIRST. I did that with your screen name and PIN. We'll see.

I too am experiencing a simmilar issue. I have just sent you a PIN request after adding your screen name and PIN.

just as a little shortcut, when you're in BBM and go to add a contact, if you type "u" you can get the [use once] option and then blackberry click and you can select "request by pin" to avoid having to do this
