Whenever I try to add a contact or recieve an invatation in the BB mesenger, the persons name is listed as pending. As soon as I accept an invatation or receive confirmation that someone has accepted me the name disappears.

Additionally, after I have tried to add a contact and the name has disappeared, the other person can still open a conversation with me. However if I close the conversation, I can never start one because no one is listed in my "contacts"

Any help would be great

I've experienced that. Not sure what causes that.

I have searched for the answer and have not found anything. I could have missed it, but I did search.

Have you heard of the problem self-correcting with time?

My gf tried adding me to her VZW 8830. I could add her with no problem, but even after about a month, I am still only in her "pending" and not in her regular contacts. Strange, strange....

I've had that issue too -- only way to fix was to java wipe and reload the OS ...

I am not going to be able to convince her to do that! She is a "its fine leave it" kinda girl. Pisses me off cause I just want the stuff to work! Maybe I'll do it while shes sleeping lolz
