It's over $2000 now....and going up. That's a lot of money for something that RIM may disable in a week.

I don't begrudge him selling it though....if someone is willing to pay for it I hope he gets all he can.

does the trackball even light up on it, it looks so much darker than the curve or bold pearl.

She's a beaut all right! Looks like a mini-Bold in that first pic. Very slick piece of kit.

But I would be worried that it's on of those pre-production, "property of Research In Motion" deals that gets the PIN turned off by RIM. We saw enough of that with the Bold.

actually the javelin does not say "Property of Research in Motion" Anywhere.

I have seen many pre-production unit, most have the sticker at the back and when you turn them on the RIM logo comes which says not for resale. This one does not have that.. it starts up and says Blackberry...thats all

Thats stupidity. The same people bidding the jack up the price. That device is no where close to worth $4000. Espically when it'll be out in a month, and you can have a warranty, and be assured that it will work. IMO

I personally agree. I'm still undecided. I thought I was decided on the Bold, but I may wait on the Javelin for AT&T. I guess we'll have to see. I definitely miss my Blackberry.
