Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

New member here, just taken delivery of a new 8900 on O2 & I have a couple of questions.

I cannot see the mapping function on any of the menus, how do I get it to work?

Also when setting up e-mail I only the option of using a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise server, not manually entering my YAhoo account????

Any help gratefully received.

Are you on a company BES? If so, their IT Policy might be limiting what you can and cannot do. If you are on BES, you probably should talk to the BES Admin about what you can and cannot do before trying to set up other things.

You enter your Yahoo account (if it is allowed by the firm) into BIS. Check with your provider for the correct web address/URL.

Maps are application based, i.e. BB Maps, GoogleMaps, etc. You need a BB data plan to get the map data. To get GPS, you need Location Services set to "on". Your user guide should have that info.

As mentioned in the other reply, you will also need a data plan to be able to enter your Yahoo! e-mail.
