Default Pros and Cons of Metal Cases?

What are the pros and cons of metal cases? I had a leather flip-lid for my 8320 (that flipped up) and I found it undesirable, as it required me to flip it open to text and probably tripled the weight of the phone.

I have never used a metal case, but have heard from folks who have that they can cause reception problems. That's purely anecdotal though...have never seen any hard evidence.

Ouch. I didn't think about that. But, I wouldn't think that'd be an issue with aluminum, only steel.
