Default Wifi issues

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everybody! I just bought the 8900 today. I am having problems connecting to the internet. I'm trying to use my WIFI to connect to the internet without the Blackberry plan and it isn't work.

I've set up my WIFI with my home router. Also, on the top right of the screen is the WIFI symbol. When I look at the menu option "Services Status" it says that my WIFI network is active.

So, when I open up the browser and when I go to a random site like CNN's home page I get redirected to a site with the message:

"Subscription required, you are not currently scubscribed to a web2go(sm) plan. "

Now my question is I thought if I had WIFI that I didn't need to have the Blackberry Internet plan. Can anybody explain or tell me what options I have to do to enable WIFI to use internet on my Blackberry Curve?

Thanks in advance!
