Using BlackBerry As Modem - BlackBerryFAQ
If you go to the main page, towards the bottom there are instructions for setting up a bluetooth modem.

1. Why would you want to make an EDGE (2G/2.5G) device operate as a modem? I would literally determine how best to slit my wrists while waiting for pages to load.

2. And then why would you want to use Bluetooth? After owning five (5) BlackBerry "modem-capable" devices, there is no question that tethering is superior. *AND* it charges - instead of drains - your BlackBerry while you're online...
