Question Maps help

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8900 Curve on an e-mail only contract with Orange (i.e. anything but e-mail should go through wifi?).

I'm going to Coventry for a SF con on Thursday. Can I use the Maps thing? My boyfriend says GPS only gives a location reference so maps would have to be looked up. So what would I do? Find somewhere with wifi and that looks up maps?

I haven't dared use Maps yet in case it somehow sticks me with unspecified horrendous charges just for looking up where I am...

Regards, Ruth

Go to "get directions" on maps and input destination details.
However i found it useless as it wouldnt give me actual directions verbally!!!! Maybe i couldn't use it correctly????
