Exclamation 8900 dropping networks..

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I just picked up the 8900 for Rogers and it is always dropping the UMA, WIFI, and EDGE network... Sometimes it is fine but then it has dropped one or all of the above networks...

I am running 4.6.1.94 on platform 4.2.0.69.

Any thoughts/advice/experiences?

Cheers

Try updating your OS . . . there's 3 newer versions available since your OS was released

I was having this issue also, I tried updating my router's firmware, used .114 radio with .133, and changed my router channel.

I am now upgrading to the latest 8900 OS .168, hopefully this fixes the problem.

Does this happens to you everything to make or receive a phone call?
