Default 8900 to Verizon?

Well I just read the thread about the 8900 "curve" coming to at&t. Will us verizon customers be left in the dark on this? or will it be coming to verizon when/if there is a 3g version? i want to upgrade from the 8130 but don't want the storm. contract isn't up until 10/09 so i really don't want to switch companies...
any advice is welcome.

The CDMA Bold, a.k.a. "Niagara" is coming to Verizon in 6 months or so. That should be the next device Verizon gets. I haven't even heard rumors about the 8900 going CDMA yet.

If 8930 comes out it may be around the 10/9 date you mentioned
