The storm's screen was very resistant to scratches. I was wondering if the 8900's screen was just as resistant?

Also, If the screen covered by a lens like the previous curves?

No. It's not very scratch resistant, I don't touch mine much and use the holster and I have a microscratch on it that you can see in direct sunlight, in normal conditions it's invisible.

I don't know about the storm's construction.. all I know is that glass is generally much more scratch resistant than plastic (curve).

I'm not sure if there's a lens over it, all i know is that it's pretty dust resistant, which is a good thing. I imagine there is a screen over it though becasue I know for a fact I'm not touching the screen directly.

the lens and the screen are all one piece, so if you scratch it you will need to get a whole new LCD to replace it... it isnt like the 83xx series where you can just replace the lens
