Default Curve 8900 & AT&T

I currently have a Bold, The battery life is killing me. I am thinking about switching to the 8900 Curve. I would get it unlocked of course. If I just pop in my Sim and stuff and tell ATT of my new IMEI and such will everything function as normal? Any start up tips you could offer?

Yeah pretty much, I think you can get away from not calling CS and just log on to your AT&T BIS it will ask you to switch PIN and you can update your IMEI number as well. My carrier T-Mobile and thatís what I had to do, I did not even have to call CS...

You could buy a bigger battery for the Bold.

I just got the 3500 beast from Seidio and I am happy....

It is bigger for sure, but I felt that the bigger battery for the Curve was bigger proportionally than the 3500 mAh is to the Bold.

I am ok with the increased size - I use the face in holster that I got for $15. I travel a lot and the battery power is really important to me.

Regards,
R
