Default How addictive are these downloads??

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
Since becoming a BB owner a couple of weeks back I have downloaded the following applications that are a must for all users. All these are great for the UK market as most downloads are targeted towards the US market.

Google maps....essential for Sat nav, local directories and much more. FREE
Worldmate Live...great for world travel and currency fluctuations. FREE
File manager pro.........great for file management and file zip. £Cheap
BeamReader....The best way to access PDF and other file types £Cheap
Vlingo....great for audio texts and audio call facility FREE
Autolock.....allows the BB to automatically lock when specified. FREE

If you guys and gals know of any other download that would enhance my BB 8900 please feel free to add to the list with comments.

Sounds like you are missing some of the essentials...

$ - cheap, $$ - expensive, everything else is free

google Mobile App - quick access to different google apps including search
Gmail - Gmail client
$$ Garmin mobile - GPS navigation
Nav4All - free GPS navigation
BBWeather - best weather app
$ BeejiveIM - best consolidated instant messaging application
$ SlingPlayer mobile - for those of us with Slingboxes to watch live TV on the bb
Opera mini - good browser alternative
CaptureIt - takes screenshots right from the bb
Slacker mobile - free streaming music similar to Pandora on the PC
moodio - streaming radio on the bb, add any streams as new channels, my favorite: NPR
Twitterberry - for the twitter addicts
Facebook - for the facebook addicts
BBtran - translator for many different languages
Slifter - compares prices in local stores (go to Best Buy (or any other store), enter product name, find out where it's cheaper in your area, and either go buy it there or get a price match)

Make sure you have an unlimited data plan... a lot of these apps consume lots of data
