Default Scroll Lagging

Please Login to Remove!

Right now my phone is being a little weird. When I scroll on the home page, scrolling is very fast and responsive. When I scroll between icons on the view all menu, scrolling is very fast and responsive. However, once I got into a folder such as Apps, or Downloads, scrolling is significantly slower. There is a definite deley when scrolling. It's very annoying. It seems to do this for a while then it stops out of somewhere. I'm running OS .168. It did this with 114 and 133 as well. I restarted the phone by pressing the off button, and also by going through the menu and pressing "Full Power Off." I also turned it off and took the battery out. What else can I do?

Thanks

Well, I just did a battery pull and it cleared it up. Still though, I think it needs to be addressed.

Battery pull is known to cure almost many BB issues... so whenever you have problems 1st do the battery pull and see if the problem still exists

I think I might have isolated something. It seems that this lagging occurs in the morning after my phone has been in charge all night. I put my phone in bedside mode over night, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I'm going to try not going into bedside mode. If that helps, then I won't do it anymore. I hope that's all it is.

Another night of charging and the scrolling lags when browsing folders. This time, however, I did not charge the phone during bedside mode. I went to options and selected "full power off" (which I learned does not let the alarm work) then then turned the phone on in the morning. I tried simply turning it on and off again but that does not help. Only a battery pull helps. This is annoying. I don't want to have to do a battery pull every time I want my phone to work correctly.

I understand the pain.. that is the reason why I installed QuickPull. This little app simulates the battery pull without actually doing it.

Here is the URL: http://go.mobihand.com?op=dlmh&pd=22989&l=1&ps=102

Also attached zip for facilitating installation using DM.
