Yesterday I had about 123-125 BBM contacts. This morning when I woke up I only had 98. Anyone have a clue as to why this would happen?

I do think any of the contacts would have been deleted. Open your address book, hit Menu key, scroll all the way up, select Filter and check if you have any filters selected.

Alternatively, if you had taken a backup, you may want to do a selective restore from the backup file.

Raja, I appreciate the response. There are no filters up and when I add people to my BBM I do so through the BBM client rather than through the address book.

I am a Mac user so its hard to back things up and I would lose maybe 20 BBM I have got since the most back-up from my friends computer.

If someone deletes you on their end, they will be removed from your contact list.

There is no way that over 25 people deleted me last night. I also had to re add people cause they asked me so I know its not from that. I hope this doesn't keep up.

It would be a pain to do this over again.

Another thoguht.. I don't have nearly as many contacts in BB Mess, and don't know of anyone with that many. Is 100+ common? I would think at some point, a Blackberry would have trouble keeping up with every contact's status, and would be constantly streaming data up/down for status changes. Maybe it is a bug though.

I have a different case. There is one contact list which appears double. Everytime I removed one of them, both will dissapeared. And when I added the contact again, it worked fine until few days later it will be doubled again. Any clue? Thx
