I've searched w/o luck. Is there an app that will replace the display's battery icon with a numeral of how much battery life remains? Thanks.

That works for the battery too? I though that changed the coverage indicator from bars to numbers.

Oops! I read the post and my mind went straight to the signal indicator.
I don't know of one that does that for the battery level. I push O , S to status for the numerical battery charge.

Nope, you'd have to have a theme that has a percentage battery meter, or you can hit "alt", right "shift", and "h" and it will show some info with the battery as a percentage

Hmmm, that toggled the signal strength icon on my 8900. Might that code be theme affected?

Oops. I began posting, got sidetracked by a call and by the time I hit 'post', a thread had grown.
Doesn't work on mine. I am using the "L" Theme.
