email issue

Hi all,

When I try to send email from my BB8900 in Chinese, the receiver can only get the email with a content of "?????". I have installed eastern asian language package and I can read and write in Chinese on my BB, as well as send SMS in Chinese. This issue just happens on sending email.

Any tips for that?

seems that either the receiving device cannot display chinese characters ... or - if your sms are displayed correctly on the same device - the receiving mailserver does not support that particular charset

"llo02" .. are you positive that Chinese language is installed on the recipient device? It seems that it is not installed on the other device.

Now, even after installing it, if the issue remains, then I guess the recipient carrier needs to be contacted for enabling the appropriate encoding format.
