Hello. I am connecting my BB to my laptop using mass media storage mode and downloading video files onto my BB. When I disconnect the BB and try to play the videos in the BB media player, there is only audio, but no video. Can anyone help me with this?

Have you resized your video to your screen size? I had the same problem when the video (640x480) exceeded my screen (320x240). Once I resized, the video was fine...I don't think the bb could process the video well when there was that much excess. Also, I am using mp4 format

How can I resize the video file or change it to mp4?

i have the same problem (no video, audio ok) but i'm downloading ted talks using itunes podcast subscribe.

i would assume that it grabs a compatible format size but hell, it's a free apple app so who knows what they do.

I used to use Seabyrd's free BB Video Converter ... converts and compresses vids to avi.

Afaik the Javelin's screen resolution 480x360 is not supported yet- but Bold res 480x320 is, maybe its worth a try.
