So, do we know if AT&T is going to get this or not? If so, when do you think it would be available. This seems to be the perfect phone option for me, but I my current phone broke so I can't wait around forever. lol

I've read that they will, so far I have not seen in what specific quarter it will be available for AT&T.

I talked to a salesman at the AT&T store the other day and he said June. I also saw people on the forums say March. Only time will tell. I'm waiting too.

^ Well I guess we can rule out March as the month they will be getting it. I just got the Red 8310 Curve, and I am already looking to upgrade to this phone as soon as AT&T releases it.

according to BGR, AT&T will also offer one without a camera for those that are concerned.

This will be good for Blackberry users who aren't allowed to have camera phones in the work place.

I'll go on record as saying ATT does not plan on releasing this phone as of now. I wouldn't count on it next quarter at all, maybe never at all. They have spent millions beating their 3G drum on TV. They're the "fastest 3g network". If they try and sell you a 2G/EDGE phone for $200 it makes them look like bozos who can't backup what they say. People will shy away and think there's something rotten in ATT land. Plus they reportedly have EDGE problems too. I say no reason for them to release it. The Bold is pretty similar. Buy unlocked if you like it, don't hold your breath. I've already seen the 8900 pix with ATT logo, don't bore me with that. I know BG is hyping it, but he has to hype something at all times, and times are slow.

AT&T WILL be getting this phone. The Bold had, and still does have its share of 3G problems, however, this did not stop AT&T from releasing it. Also, a month ago, they released the Curve 8320, which IS a 2G Blackberry, so I fail to see why the lack of 3G on the new Curve 8900 would stop them from releasing it at all, especially after the successful launch of this device on T-Mobiles network.......... All of the customer service reps. that I have spoke to thus far, have all said that this phone would be coming out soon.

Precisely! I can't tell you how many meetings I go into where people with camera phones are asked to leave their phones with the receptionist while I'm happily BB Messengering away with my 8700 :-D
