Hi everyone,

New owner of the 8900, and new to WiFi. I have a wireless router at home, using WEP and I am able to find it with the 8900 and use it just fine.

When I try to scan for other hotspots, all it finds are WEP networks. Yesterday i was sitting with a friend, and she was able to scan for networks with her IPhone and find over 15 hotspots, all not WEP enabled.

I did the same scan and found only three WEP spots, and no others. I must me missing something in order to find the non-WEP spots I can use.

Any ideas?
