I know that TMobile will provide you with the unlock code for free after a few months on the contract. I was wondering if Rogers have a similar option available to their customers. I've had my Javelin from Rogers since December 08.

Just to update you guys, I went with HorizonWireless and everything seems to be going swimmingly so far. I chose their speedy unlock service, which brought the price up to $20 CAD. Josh was kind enough to apply their online discount code for $10 while helping me on the phone. So I should get charged a total of $10 + GST. I got a call back from Steve, I think within 20 minutes, and he walked me through the input of the code. I can now use my Rogers 8900 on my TMO account while I'm in Cali. A good day so far...
