Default BB Messenger won't let me type long sentences?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I'm having a slight problem with my 8900. All of a sudden, the BB messenger won't let me type long messages more than 5 words (basically more than one line) otherwise the cursor disappears as does all the text. All I can do at the moment is split my sentences up into 4-5 word lines. I have tried resetting and turning on and off. Can anyone advise?

I am in the UK on Orange network.

Thanks

Have you done a battery pull?

Could this be a memory problem?

Highly unlikely. Batter pull suggestion should clear it up.

I find this happens when I have a conversation that gets too long with a particular contact. If I end the conversation and restart it with the same contact, it has always cleared up the problem. If you want to save the contents of the conversation prior to deleting, use the select all feature and then copy the conversation into an email or document.
