Default Typing in a promp box on a Curve 8900

Please Login to Remove!

I have noticed that when i write emails on GMAIL through my browser, my message remains on a single line through out the entire message. On my Curve 8320 it would start a new line everytime it hits the end of the message box. can this be fixed?

Not on the 8900 yet. depending on your OS, you can hit enter or click the trackball to start a new line.

I have noticed that in any browser text box. Its very annoying. Especially if you make a mistake and the cursor comes out of the box. Its difficult to get to the end of the paragraph again. Hope there is a fix in the future.

This is one of my biggest problems with the supposedly "new & improved" Browser on 4.6!

I regularly use my BlackBerry to visit and post on my favorite messageboards, including this one! But ever since switching to the 8900 with OS version 4.6, I'm no longer able to make my posts using the BlackBerry Web Browser. I have to use Opera Mini to make my posts instead, because its text box still works like it should!

So, yeah, until RIM gets their act together and fixes the glitches with the official Web Browser, that's what I recommend you do: download and install Opera Mini and use that anytime you need to use a text box on a website. As an added bonus, you'll also see the sites formatted correctly, whereas the BB Web Browser on OS 4.6 frequently renders pages incorrectly, and has images overlapping text and other formatting problems that are less likely to show up on Opera Mini.

.206 seemed to allow it to work better. Not ideal. But much better than stock.
enter will go to the next line and you get a word wrap of the lines.
