I just got the blackberry 8900, i am a ATT customer, the phone is unlocked. However i can not get the WiFi to work on my phone is it because i'm useng a tmobile unlocked phone or is it because of another reason.

Would this problem be solved if I had the unbranded GSM verison of phone?

what do you mean you can't get the WiFi to work exactly. Is it giving you an error message or is it not connecting???

Its odd because i'm in front the router in my hom its connected to the phone, however it gives me this message. Do I have to change settings to get it work or what not?

1. Check your APN settings and make sure it's correct for ATT.

2. Change your browser to "hotspot browser" in the general settings.
