Use the advanced restore feature.

DM automatically adds the date to the .ipd files it creates, so you can choose the one you want.

I doubt it, but you can try.

Also, please refrain from posting in all caps.

do a search on your computer for *.ipd and maybe you'll find an old backup

Ohhhhhh!!! Why didn't you say so?

You won't get BBM contacts if you change devices. You will need to re-add them individually.

Wirelessly posted (Wohoo! I'm mobile!)

You can actually get just the BBM contacts out of a backup but since you don't have the backup you want then it won't help...

Sorry...

I'm sorry but that is not all caps. All caps would be: THIS IS ALL CAPS, SO YOU ARE WRONG.

Actually I'm not wrong. This forum has a filter to prevent an entire post from being in all caps, so when someone does it like the OP did, only the first letter of each word will be capitalized.

Please read the forum rules. If this is your contribution to this thread, it's a fail.

OP, you actually have to have a backup from 3 days ago to restore data from one. If you don't backup regularly then you're probably not in good shape. It may be that the backup you are working with is all you have.

I agree on both counts.

Yes, dc/dc is correct. If you type in all caps it will capitalize the first letter of each word. if you type a few words in lowercase and the rest in caps, then it will bypass the filter.

As CO_BBTechie stated, you need to backup regularly. If you cannot find a backup file from 3 days ago, then you're out of luck.
