Computer not connected to the Internet?
 
Can anyone help me? I have installed BB desktop manager on my PC at work and want to synchronize my agenda. When I connect my BB (with USB-cable) and click 'configue synchronization settings' it gives me the following message:
"The computer must be connected to the Internet in order to initially configure synchronization settings. Please ensure that you are able to connect to the Internet and try again."
I've done the same thing at home and it works properly...

My guess is a firewall is preventing the software from connecting.

I am having the same problem, but my firewall is off and im still getting the same "The computer must be connected to the Internet in order to initially configure synchronization settings. Please ensure that you are able to connect to the Internet and try again" message.

Any other ideas?

If it is a company PC, might be best to ask your IT staff to see if there is a policy against connecting. The company might be blocking it.
