Try wiping the device and reinstalling your old OS. Here is a thread that will assist you:

I am having an issue. I have the same problem with the original poster and my phone is currently bricked.

JL CMDER does not seem to work on my x64 bit Windows 7 machine. If I install JL CMDER on my GF's x32 laptop, will I also have to install BDM and the App OS just to get JL CMDER to work?

EDIT: So I installed BDM and the OS on my GF's x32 laptop and tried over 30 times to connect. Still nothing.

I then tried the command line Loader.exe /nojvm and got no connection. I even tried the "disconnect and reconnect" until the USB:Unknown was detected. When I hit next, the Application Loader Wizard is stuck on "Connecting to the device (ARM)"

At this point, the red light on the device isnt blinking anymore.

As it stands, I cannot do anything. Is my BB officially bricked?

What can I do, please help...

I figured it out. I had Windows 7 on both machines. Apparently, the Beta OS and W7 really dont work well together. Anyways, I uninstalled the Beta OS and loaded the latest Release and was able to get my 8900 back up and running again.

Whew...
