Hey guys, also posted this at CB. When i had BIS, my signal would come up as EDGE. I read somewhere that if you get rid of your data plan, the signal name will come out as "edge" (lower cased) but for some reason ever since i took out bis from my plan, it has been coming out as GSM. Any ideas?

btw, you cant use MMS if you dont have a BIS plan right? i thought even if you didnt but you had the unlimited messaging, than MMS would work. blahh guess there was no point in pushing my service books before i cut the bis
