Default Backlight?

I used to have a bold and lost it. :(

8900 was a good option since 3g isn't a big deal and much cheaper.

The Bold when I took out of holster would automatically light up. The 8900 doesn't light up. It is a minor annoyance, but can I make the 8900 auto light up?

What holster did you use?
Did you know if your BB actually go to standby when put into the holster? If the backlight is not on, it looks like it does not come out of standby...
