I love using the app Vlingo for it's convenience when sending SMS messages. I was curious if a program existed, where I could speak into the phone... the phone would translate into text, and I could shoot it to my email for further action?

I was toying with an idea of trying to make a contact in my contacts that had my email in it, and then having vlingo send a text to that contact, but obviously that didn't work.

Sometimes.. when I am in a rush, or driving... having a convenience like that for quick notes or to do's would be very handy, and safer than trying to type while driving, and later when I am at the computer, having those notes to organize in my email inbox would be very handy....

any suggestions?

You can send an email with Vlingo via voice recognition.

Say Email (name) Subject (your subject) Message (speak your message).

For example you would say: "Email Steve subject running late message I am running a few minutes late"

Vlingo will then compose the email to Steve with the subject of running late and the body that says I am running a few minutes late.

Is that what you're trying to do?
