Anyone know which OS for the 8900 that is currently out not for a specific carrier? I want to be able to edit my firewall settings but thats lock per carrier build.

Remove the vendor.xml file from any 8900 OS to make it non-carrier specific.

I think it's an IT policy on your device that preventing you from editing your firewall settings, not your OS.

Yes removing the vendor xml will allow you to apply any os. There is no IT policy on my unit. Firewall is blocked by the carrier regardless dispite the policy.
