Just like the title says when i put my bb on the holster the battery seems to ran faster than when i use the silicon case!!
I just did the new update maybe that fix it..but does any one had the same issue with the BB holsters???

I believe this was an issue with the earlier operating system. I don't experience the issue and I am using the 4.6.1.206 version.

The OS makes no difference for me whatsoever. Still loosing battery life about 30% faster when in the holster (sleeping).

That's a common issue. Some holsters are too tight and activate the phone while in there. If that's your problem then can the holster. My OEM sleeve was fine but the RIM sleeve I bought afterward sucked and I sent it back.

I had the same problem when using a holster that was completely open so keys no could have been pushed, and also with the oem bb case. I updated my software to the latest version I could find and it still happens.

Nope, this has nothing to do with the case pushing buttons. I use a T-mobile holster maid by Speck. It does not push any buttons. The only possible explanation seems to be related to the sleep magnet. While it does put the BB to sleep, it must be having some other undesirable effect.

That's why i when with 2 holsters to see if i would get the same results and yes it happened not as fast with the new update but still.
I decided to get the Roots Tuff Skin since i work in the trades i get a lot of dust and i tend to touch it with my hands dirty and at least it comes with silicone and the belt clip and a screen protector which i like very much!!
