No, there is no way to automatically sync your Outlook calendar without Exchange and BES.

Yes you can do it with a subscription to thinkpost.net you pay a couple $ per month and sync with their servers by installing an app on your 8900 and outlook. Its very much like a BES server but does not sync folders in the e-mail only outlook contacts, notes, calender and tasks.

Been using it for about 6 months have one pc, two lappies and two bb's now syncing though a couple only sync one way. You do get the odd hiccup but the only real hassle is when you do a firmware upgrade and reinstall everything but i've got that almost sorted now as well.

The guy that runs the service gives excellent support and you can cancel when you like.

Hope it helps m8.

That's great! Does it allow you to wireless synchronize your Outlook Calendar with your BlackBerry?

Yes, as long as the computer is running and is connected to the internet.

I've been using Bluetooth to sync my Blackberry with Outlook running on my PC. It worked with my 8100 Pearl and also works with my 8900 Javelin.

All I had to do was get a USB Bluetooth adapter, mate it to my Blackberry and now whenever my 8900 comes within range (and has Bluetooth on), I can sync. The sync is the same as though I has used a USB cable .. and its pretty fast too. All folders can sync and you can do a backup as well. However, you cannot access your media card directly - may be possible to do that too via Roxio (but I haven't tried).
