I am new to the whole blackberry thing. I got my Pearl last October but since I hate att I decided to leave and get the bb curve8900. well i am slightly overwhelmed and have no idea how to personalize text message tones and etc. basically my bb looks just like it did the day i got it so i need any help and knowledge that i can get. thanks.

Then start playing with settings, options in your BB's menu or alter the profile to change the sounds, etc.

what i would do is go to options---profiles and then select the profile you want to edit in that profile are all the options for making the phone act the way you want it to act. vibe ring and change tones for ringer and text messages.

hey 341 sometimes its just better to just tell the person the answer . i do agree he or she should read the correct section of the forum for help. i feel alot of people just want t a quick answer.
