Default Blackberry Sends Email Gibberish

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everyone,

I have a Javelin 8900 with T-Mobile and I have been having some trouble with one of my email accounts.

My school frat has an email list serve that we can post to via email and it is distributed to all of its members. My Blackberry along with other member's blackberrys from different carriers turn the emails we send from our bberrys into windings and strange symbols. Similar to wingdings or chinese.

It is hit and miss. Everyone once in a while it will send through as proper text email. Emails send fine from my other 2 emails, and they send fine with that account when sent to emails other than the list serve. It is very annoying and our list serve is filling up with this crap because a lot of us use bberry to post to it.

I went into carrier and they couldn't figure it out.

Is it a server issue, list serve issue? Can anyone give me some advice?

Thanks,

Kevin Webb

Default

I had the same issue happen to me on my 8320 months ago. It was RIM issue, they reset some settings on their side and all was well.

Basically, I called T-mobile and immediately asked to be upgraded to BB Tech services in Canada. They fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes.
