Default 8900 browser non html and column view

Please Login to Remove!

I just switched to the 8900 from the older curve.
I was wondering if there is a setting for column view, because in the default setting there are a lot of web sites that require horizontal scrolling which is very inconvinient. also the full html display makes it painfully slow to load.
If there are no settings to change this 2 things I'm considering switching back to the older curve.
