Default Device Switch Question

Please Login to Remove!

If I have an 8700g with 4.5 OS, DM 4.5 (will upgrade it to at least 4.6) and want to buy and transfer ALL data, apps, and settings from the 8700 to the 8900 will Device Switch on DM do that. Are there any pitfalls or things to do to get ready for this procedure, other than backing up the 8700? Or is it better to let the carrier store do it with a single cable connection between the two?

Thanks,

Ken

akosnitzky,

I do a sync with Outlook everyday and will with the 8900 if I get it. But, will the Device Switch work as I asked above?

Thanks for any help,

Ken
