Default Hidden Media Folders

Please Login to Remove!

On my previoius 8320, I could tick the "hidden" box when viewing the "Properties" of a folder in the Media app.

On my 8900, it would seem you can only hide individual files now, as opposed to whole folders.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks

No, you can't hide folders on the Blackberry 8900. You can however, connect the blackberry to a PC in Mass Storage Mode and hide folders that way.

Drat.

I really wish RIM would leave some things the same from OS to OS.

Actually this works very well.

Hide the folder using Windows Explorer (or whatever) and all of the files listed underneath that folder will be "hidden" as well, whether or not their properties are set to "Hidden".

You can access them from the "Explore" option at the Media Selection screen and all options are still available from there.
