OK this is a little unusual, but I've noticed on a few occasions that if I open an HTML e-mail message, and choose to download images, and then close it, it will not always change the message status to "read," either by itself, or by forcing "mark all previous messages read" until I re-open it and close it again.

This happens wether or not I let the message finish downloading all images or not. It is no more than a little annoying, but still a less than ideal performance from an otherwise nice BB device.

I'm using OS .206 on T-mo USA, if it makes a difference.

The e-mail IS read, until you ask it to download the images. by downloading the images, you are asking the e-mail to basically be resent in the "eyes" of the blackberry. I am on .231 and marking prior open works.
