Default Yhe "master" Password

Please Login to Remove!

I've done a search and even though there are a number of "password" questions, none address the "master" password

When I turn off my 8900 and turn it back on it asks for the password that is on the "SIM" card.

I've looked everywhere and cannot find the answer:

How can I change that password?

You are looking for the SIM PIN, not the password.

You can change the SIM PIN in Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card. Click Menu and choose "Change SIM PIN".

Wirelessly posted

You will be required to enter the PIN in order to disable this feature. In some cases the PIN is provided by the carrier intially in a letter or a sticker on the box. If you don't know the PIN then you will need help from your carrier.
