I have a Curve 8900.
I am on BES.
I downloaded the BES Mailbox App so that it separates my work email from my personal email.

Everytime I send a message from my work, it will show up as a NEW message in my inbox (and have a check next to it).

Basically, in my BES mailbox, its showing all of the messages (including sent messages).

HOWEVER, I saved the settings in the e-mail that say HIDE sent messages. Yet it still shows............

i hve 3 gmail accounts on my phone and i have the sent msg problem with only 1, and it drives me crazy as well and the settings are the same for all 3 accounts

Is this a 3rd party app that you have downlaoded? Sounds like the issue may be in the app itself.

Here is what you need to do.

go to Mailbox->Options->Email Settings and hit the menu key, click on Folder Redirection and then click on the Plus sign next to your mailbox name (If it is not expanded already). Click on the box next to the Sent folder to unselect it. Exit and save your settings and you should be OK.

In some cases this does not take and your BB Admin needs to do this from his side.

Note that if your using BES Mailbox from Empower it has issues with OS 4.5 and later. Here is a link to a BB document that you should give to your BB Admin. This will enable a separate mailbox icon just for your BES email.
