How can i make a backup of OS?

Can i have OS as a file i can run it anytime i need?

You need to download the os from the blackberry site. The only thing u can back up is your info

Typically the handset software (the OS) is downloaded from the carrier. See blackberryfaq for the download site for your carrier.

So, when you download the file, you have the file.

There is no backing up of the OS from the handset. As dan says, you backup the data and settings and so forth. Thus, if you had to wipe and restore, you would reinstall the OS and then restore the backup.
