Lightbulb Using iPod Car Charger for 8900

Please Login to Remove!

The 8900 can be charged when connected to the computer's USBxxx12288;port. According to Wikipedia USB provides 5V of power. The output for iPod charger is also 5V 1A.

The iPod car charger uses a USB cable, do you guys think I will be able replace the ipod cable with the blackberry mini-USB..... and charge the 8900?

Thanks in advance.

sure 10 more dollars in my wallet can't hurt. I don't want my arm rest to fill up with cables.

Best chargers for all devices are iGo chargers. You can get the tips for whatever you need and even a splitter in case you want to charge two at once. I have both car and wall iGo chargers with tips for both BB 8830 and 8900, iPod, and a couple of other phones my Mom used to use (before I got her a BB 8220).
