Default 8900 data cable driver

Please Login to Remove!

I have 8900 handheld but unable to installed its data cable driver. when i try to connect the handheld with blackberry desktop manager 4.7 windows did not install its driver. i am using windows vista. please help

i would uninstall and reinstall desktop manager. the driver is included with that. make sure its installed as administrator

i have the same problem, my computer could not "see" my BB. i have uninstalled the desktop manager and downloaded the USB driver and it still wouldn't work. i have tried all usb ports in my computer and it still could not detect my BB. i'm running out of options here...HELP!!!

check your computer under this directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\USB Drivers

nothing there? if you need, i can email you the drivers specifically from my machine, but thats pretty weird. assuming when you BBDM is running, bb connected, nothing happens?

what about on bb itself, does it show its charging? when you connect bb to computer, does the speaker sound like as if you connect any USB device to a computer?
