Red face Making Zip Code Field Numeric

Please Login to Remove!

I love my 8900 but I can't figure out how to change the zip code field so the default is numerics rather than alpha categories. Why doesn't they system do that automatically? How can I do it? I knew how on an earlier model but can't for the life of me figure it out. Thanks!

As above - ALT + L-Shift will turn on NUM LOCK.

It doesn't force numerical entries because some locations (Canada comes to mind) have letters and numbers in their postal codes - you need to be able to do both.

Understand about Canada. Wouldn't forbid alpha but would default to numerical fields.

If you hit control alt that sets it all numerics while you enter but doesn't change the default language.
