Default Really need help with browser issues!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I'm new here so Howdy!!! And I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having. I purchased my BB 8900 unlocked. Signed up with a carrier of my choice. Everything was working great, smooth sailing. Until I had a corrupted app that gave me the 'app error 200' stuff. To fix that I completely reinstalled the device software from the blackberry website and totally reset the phone.

My email service came back up right away but the BB browser icon was missing and I was not able to log on to the net at all. I took it to my service provider and they said to try downgrading the OS. I did that. But it was the same issue. The managed to get the BB Browser Icon back for me but did not manage to fix the issue.

Do I need to download the update from T-Mobile? Since the phone was apparently an unlocked T-mobile BB? Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

Thanking you so much!

Wirelessly posted

Go to options > advanced options > host routing table. Menu click and select register
That will download the reguired service books. If you didn't do that, try and see if it works

Thanks for the reply. There are a lot of entries when I go to the Host routing table, do I have to register all of them?

What is happening is that when I go to browser configuration, 'Hotspot Browser' is the only option I have. And I think this is what is causing the issue. I've updated service books and everything as well, and it's still the same thing.
