Hi, i am going to america for a couple of months and will have an american sim card. i will need access to all my contacts information. i have over 500 contacts.

how do i transfer them to the phones memory card so that when i inset my american sim i will be able to view all contacts?

also, i am receiving a new blackberry on monday and am about to pack up my phone on the blackberry software, will this also back up my contacts from the blackberry messenger? or do i need to write down all the pin numbers?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

The PINs should transfer automatically but it doesn't hurt to havw a backup.

I never used a SIM card. The desktop mamnger is a good tool but may NOT be accessible to you.

Don't think you can transfer the address book to the SD card. Might be able to use Outlook and save as a csv or other file type and then save that to the card.

Are you taking a laptop with you?
