Default T-Mobile Curve 8900 trackball won't move up

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone seen this and do they have a fix? I have a one week old Curve 8900. The trackball quit moving up today. I can move it sideways and down, but it will not move up. I have a call in to T-Mobile but I thought this may be something for the forum.

Welcome to the forums.

Power the device off, the press down on the trackball and roll it up. This should clear any debris that could be blocking it from rolling in that direction.

Yes, since it is rolling in other directions, this is a case of some debries blocking to roll up. Try rolling gently. Keep trying, be patient. It'll clear up.
