Default Custom Ring Tones Help

Please Login to Remove!

With my old LG phone with Verizon I would make Custom Ring Tones using mp3's and Wavepad's mp3 editor... I would make 30 second clips and save them as .mid files and then move them over to the phone's memory....

What is the process for making ring tones for the 8900? What file type does the ring tone need to be saved as? I assume you just have to move them over to the Ring Tones folder when you have your BB connected to the computer via Mass Storage Mode?

Any help is appreciated... Thank you.

Use any software that lets you make clips of a song. I do short clips (approx 30 sec) using Roxio Sound Editor from the Easy Media Creator Suite. I save as mp3. They can be either in the Ringtone folder or the music folder.
